Blake Lewis' new single entitled "Sad Song" has just been outed via his Twitter. Carrying up-tempo jams which allow its listeners to dance, the track reportedly will be released as a lead single from his forthcoming sophomore set "Heartbreak on Vinyl".
Blake Lewis eyes to bring out the new album across United States on October 6 under Tommy Entertainment. In getting the record done, Blake works with acclaimed songwriters and producers, such as S*A*M & Sluggo (Fall Out Boy), Dave Aude (The Pussycat Dolls), Rodney Jerkins (Lady GaGa, Britney Spears), and Jean Baptiste (will.i.am, Black Eyed Peas).
Of the new album, Blake said, "[It] is the culmination of over 10 years in the dance scene -- the music that gets me out onto the dance floor to lose my inhibition." The former contestant of "American Idol" season six added, "The title is an ode to all the record stores that have been closing down due to my industry eating itself."
"These are the stores that brought inspiration to all of us music lovers and have led me to make the music I create today. 'Heartbreak On Vinyl' is filled with electro pop goodness, with melodies I cherish and that I hope my fans will sing to. It comes from the land of the broken-hearted to help you mend lonely wounds."

I’m so excited for his new album!!! So happy that Clive wasn’t there to force him and screw him up to do stuff like release a single that he didn’t want *cough* Break Anotha *cough* this time around. I rly do hope heartbreak on vinyl, especially his single, does rly well on the charts. and im sure they will Sad Song is such an amazing song, and i just want to say BLAKE’S BAKK BIATCHES!!!
