Rumor that Vanessa Hudgens will be stripping naked in "Sucker Punch" has been slammed down. Soon after the speculation begins to fly around, her publicist, as reported by X17 Online, responded with a statement that instead of baring her nude body, the "High School Musical" actress will only be seen "dressing sexy and wearing less than what she would normally wear".
The stripping naked rumor sparked when U.K.'s Metro posted a report on the 20-year-old as she talks about her character in the Zack Snyder's upcoming action fantasy. "I'm playing a character named Blondie and it's set in a brothel in the 1950s, so there's not a whole lot of clothes," she was quoted as saying.
The girlfriend of actor Zac Efron then added, "I think this is my time to really step it up and get to grow up. It will be somewhat different with the content and a few more foul words but that's the biggest difference." Her words were quickly linked to her previous statement about her willing to "show nudity in a film when the time is right".
In the Metro's report, the actress who is still busy filming for CBS Films' "Beastly" also exposes what to expect from the Warner Bros. Pictures movie aside from describing about her character in the film. "It'll be gun training, stunts, fighting and all that craziness," she says. "I can't wait. I'm so excited. I've wanted to do an action film for a while."
To be released in the U.S. March 25, 2011, "Sucker Punch" centers on a young girl who is confined to a mental institution by her evil stepfather. Stuck in the place, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain. In her imagination, she plans her escape, needing to steal five objects to help her get out before she is deflowered by a vile man. It stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung and Jena Malone.

I think the media needs to leave these young actors & actresses alone. The media is 1) just trying to get a reaction & 2) trying to influence them. I'm glad she won't be naked - I don't like that in movies - no matter who the actor or actress is. People are judging her b/c of photos someone else put on the internet. Which I think her laywers should make all the sites take off of all the pictures from the internet and be done with it.
