Hollywood Celebs Tweet About America's Independence Day

John Mayer, Mariah Carey, and P. Diddy are among the stars who share their Fourth of July well-wishes on Twitter.

was one of the many celebs who took it to their Twitter account to write one or two things about celebrating the Fourth of July. "America, since it's your birthday, you just lie on the couch. I'll make you flapjacks. Today is your day. I am so happy to be your girl! XOX," the rock singer wrote.

Also writing a post about America's Independence Day was of band . "Happy bday [America]. You did some weird things back in ur teenage years. But u turned out awesome. Roman candles I ur honor tonight! Happy 4th," read the bassist's message.

Pop diva , meanwhile, kept her Twitter message simple, writing "Happy 4th of July ... Celebrate Life!" Reality TV star and music mogul had the same posting as Mariah's.

In addition to them all, singer tweeted, "What a way to spend a hot day! Lake is perfect! The smell of BBQ everywhere-happy 4th of July America! Hope u all r having the best one!" Unlike those celebs, screenwriter Diablo Cody wrote, "Confession: I'm afraid of fireworks. Ignite a single cherry bomb and I'm under the bed like a Labrador."
