When making a stop at London's O2 Arena where Michael Jackson was supposed to hold gigs starting on July 13, Madonna will show her respect to the late King of Pop by giving a special performance. Madonna will perform at the tribute concert, which has been sold out, on Saturday night, July 4.
Details on her upcoming performance are yet to be disclosed. But, two rehearsal pictures for the particular show have been put forward by Madonna on her official website in a bid to give a sneak peek on what to expect from this concert.
Previously, Madonna posted her condolence over Michael Jackson's sudden death on her social network. Two days after he passed away, Madonna wrote, "I can't stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless."
After the July 4 concert is wrapped, Madonna will follow up her performance with another concert at the same venue on the next day. Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether or not the July 5 gig will be conducted as a tribute show for Michael Jackson.
