AceShowbiz - The news which claimed that Susan Boyle was beckoned to make a cameo on "Ugly Betty" has been denied. A representative from ABC confirmed that the singer will not make an appearance on the comedy series to both US Magazine and Entertainment Weekly.
Susan, the 48-year-old singing sensation from Scotland, reportedly received a lot of offers from TV execs in U.S. last month. The Sun said that she has been offered a part on "Ugly" to play herself. "Susan has been bombarded with offers of work in America, but this is something she is really keen on and we hope to make happen," the tabloid's source claimed.
Problem was, a rep for Susan neither confirmed nor denied the report at that time, only saying "Susan has many offers on the table. At the moment she is looking forward to recording her album."
The fourth season of "Ugly Betty" will premiere on October 9 with a two-hour event.
