Director Carlos Saldanha and some of the 'Ice Age 3' voice actors, including John Leguizamo and Queen Latifah, discuss plot points and new characters for the new installment of the animation series.

AceShowbiz - Few days prior to "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" theatrical release, Yahoo! Movies has got a hold on an exclusive inside look at the animated comedy about three misfit friends living during the Ice Age era. Coming out in the form of a featurette, the inside look video features many fresh footage as well as partial interview with many of the film's voice talents and director.

Speaking up first is director Carlos Saldanha, who promises that "Dawn of the Dinosaurs" is made on a bigger scale compared to the first two "Ice Age" movies with the addition of Dinosaurs for the trio's new adventures. John Leguizamo, who gives voice to Sid, then takes over, explaining that this third movie will have a lot of action sequences, before Queen Latifah, who voices Ellie, states the pregnancy story.

Beside those three, Ray Romano, who lends his voice for Manny, and Simon Pegg, who fills in for new addition Buck, each shares a thing or two about the movie as well as the characters to be seen.

"Ice Age: Dawn of Dinosaurs" is the third installment of the Academy Award-nominated computer-animated film "Ice Age". The film will once again hear the voices of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary as the three unlikely friends, Manfred, Sid and Diego respectively. To be released this coming Wednesday, July 1, in the U.S., it also features Seann William Scott as another voice talent.

This time, while Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut, Manny, Diego, Ellie and her two brothers fall into a mission to rescue the hapless Sid. They venture into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna, and meet a relentless, one-eyed, dino-hunting weasel, Buck.
