Jay-Z's upcoming music video for his new single "D.O.A (Death of Auto-Tune)" which will be listed on his forthcoming album "Blueprint 3" has been partially revealed through a short clip. It features the rapper donning all-black outfits and rapping his verses in what seems to be a parking lot.
Jay-Z is scheduled to premiere the full-length music video at 2009 BET Awards on June 28. Beside debuting the video, Jay-Z will also pay tribute to Michael Jackson at the event alongside other performers, such as Beyonce Knowles, Ne-Yo and The-Dream.
"There's a direct line from Jay-Z to Michael Jackson," the awards' producer Stephen Hill commented on Jay-Z going to honor the late singer at the annual event. What Stephen said as "a direct line" between Jay-Z and Michael might be the fact that Michael's music has influenced Jay-Z to craft songs. The rapper who has just completed a short summer tour with Ciara sampled Jackson Five's 1969 single "I Want You Back" for his 2001 song "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)".
