A music video aimed to support DAY26's single entitled "Girlfriend" has just been made available for fans' viewing pleasure. It takes its focus on the Hip-Hop group's singing and dancing performance with scenes where they are frolicking with their lovers intercepting.
"Girlfriend" is a ballad song which is produced by top-notch producers Tank and Willie Taylor. It appears among new songs in DAY26's second studio album called "Forever in a Day" which has been in stores across United States since mid April.
In another news, DAY26 have been listed as one of the nominees at 2009 BET Awards which will be held at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28. They compete against GS Boyz, N.E.R.D, The Roots and Three 6 Mafia in the Best Group category.

I hate how Que and Willie are depicted as the "lead singers" even though they have no higher ability than the others, only coz there better looking. Robert has a teensy bit of spotlight as well while Brian and Mike have to share the minute left. Just goes to show, Diddy is a one dimensional man who thinks a band/artists success depends on there looks. Thats why Day26 haven't got the fame they deserve.
It's cool. I thought they would have picked another song as their next single, but I guess they needed something more r&bish than the popier I'mma Put It On Her. I believe Think Of Me would have been a better choice. That would have been great to listen to on the radio all summer.
I really like the new video and love how Will is the frontman because he is cute!
"Sofia" Diddy has nothing to do with who the lead is... Im not sure if you know but there's a t.v. show that nothing but them and the making of thies album. Q agrued tirelessly about getting parts and doing different types of songs, Diddy wasn't involved! This GROUP is even on this album, everyone has a couple songs they shine on, unlike most groups of the past... think about it!
I love the vid!! @sofia - i think they're depicted that way because they sing the most on the track. sometimes it's Will and Brian...other times, brian & rob (like in "Imma put it on her") - i guess it all depends. i think the next promo vid is actully "truth is a lie" - that's what Que said via his twitter..should be out tomorrow!!! they also shot "perfectly blind", "so good" and something else...
and this song is not an actual single this is one of 5 promo videos that will be released with the re-release of the album in october... "your heels" will be the official second single which should be out shortly
