Single, famous, and having a sky-rocketing acting career, Chace Crawford is named Summer's Hottest Bachelor by People magazine. The "Gossip Girl" actor lands the top spot on the weekly publication's 10th annual list of Sexy & Single Men of 2009, beating out some heavy contenders that include nowadays famous heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who despite his worldwide fame only finishes at No. 10.
In an accompanying interview, Chace addresses on some issues concerning his private life. He among others talks about his first kiss, perfect date, and experience in dating famous country music star Carrie Underwood. He, moreover, also denies rumors of him dating "Gossip Girl" co-star Ed Westwick.
Also making the annual list are "Star Trek" hottie Chris Pine and fellow actor Shia LaBeouf, both of whom are ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively. "American Idol" season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert is also one of the other 45 hot guys who make the list. Small screen actor Ryan Eggold of TV series "90210" and actor Kellan Lutz of vampire drama movie "Twilight" share the 5th position.
The full list of Sexy & Single Men of 2009 is featured on People's Hottest Bachelors issue, which will hit the newsstands Friday, June 19. Chace's interview with the publication is also featured on the edition.

and btw, guys on this current list r gay! -- (including possibly chase) but they r all closeted publicly. this is part of adam's appeal. he is who he is -- and women (and i assume men!) still think he's amazingly sexy. this is a change i agree. good for people magazine.
