In a bid to mark the upcoming Refugee Day on June 20, Angelina Jolie tapes a public service announcement (PSA) which is aimed to draw people's attention on suffering refugees who are needing help. The PSA is made in partnership with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), to which Angelina serves as one of its Goodwill Ambassadors.
Various scenes showcasing a number of suffering refugees in different locations are seen as the PSA is played. A touching music is heard in companion to the footage.
"Please don't turn away", Angelina says on the very beginning of the PSA. "Refugees are the most vulnerable people on Earth. Everyday they are fighting to survive. They deserve our respect. Please do not forget them." She adds, "Remember them on this day. World's Refugee Day."
