Snippet of Jordin Sparks' new song 'Vertigo' is provided through an in-studio footage which reveals her recording session with Toby Gad.

AceShowbiz - Jordin Sparks provides fans with a tease on her new album "Battlefield" by giving away snippet of its never-heard-before song "Vertigo" through an in-studio footage. In the video blog, it is revealed that she finishes the track with the help from powerhouse producer/songwriter Toby Gad.

Beside "Vertigo" snippet, the footage also lets fans enjoy two other new songs, "Let It Rain" and "Faith". While the former track contains dance vibe like the one carried by "Vertigo", the latter is a ballad tune. Both are also produced by Toby Gad.

"Battlefield" is set to be released across U.S. on July 21. Its title track has been dropped on iTunes on May 12 as the album's first single with a music video to be premiered soon.

"To me, the title 'Battlefield' is about strength and perseverance," Jordin explains about the album and song title. "Things can go from good to bad in an instant, it could be family, friendship or work; and my favorite line in the song is, 'you better go and get your armor,' because it's telling you to be prepared for that time so that you can overcome it."
