Jordin Sparks is captured lingering in an open place by herself as seen in the snippet of her 'Battlefield' music video which is due for premiere next week.

AceShowbiz - After being teased through a behind-the-scenes footage, Jordin Sparks' upcoming music video for her new single "Battlefield" is now made available to sneak peek through a short snippet. It captures her singing inside a car which is parked in an open place. It shows her lying on the grass as well.

Directed by Phillip Andelman, "Battlefield" music video is scheduled to be premiered on June 8 on MTV. On what the video will be dealing with, Jordin recently said, "Something happened at the party [I attend] ... I don't understand what's going on. I'm frustrated and I'm sad for having done something wrong. I'm driving away from that place and I stop at the nearest open place that I find."

"Battlefield" is the lead single off Jordin Sparks' soon-to-be released second studio album with the same name "Battlefield". It was sung live on-stage for the first time during "American Idol" result show on May 13 with its writer OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder playing piano to accompany her performance.
