Forbes magazine's annual list of The World's Most Powerful Celebrities has been unveiled, witnessing Angelina Jolie on its No. 1 spot. Praised as a rich, talented, and beautiful woman, she is listed earning an estimated $27 million in the past 12 months, thanks to her starring roles in a number of box office movies, like "Kung Fu Panda" and "Wanted (2008)".
Besides, the publicity that she earns for her personal life is also claimed to be taking part in boosting her position in the magazine's list. It is no secret that Angelina often becomes the subject of media headlines concerning her romance with actor partner Brad Pitt as well as her philanthropic efforts. Brad himself makes the list at No. 9, just one place ahead of Kobe Bryant who finishes 10th.
Last year's chart-topper Oprah Winfrey falls one place to 2nd. The talk show queen is reported banking $275 million in the last year. Such amount of earnings is said coming from her daily talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show", monthly magazine dubbed O, and also her three-year, $55 million deal with XM Satellite Radio.
Per Forbes, The World's Most Powerful list "is a measure of entertainment-related earnings and media visibility (exposure in print, television, radio and online). The earnings estimates consist of pre-tax income between June 2008 and June 2009. Management, agent and attorney fees are not deducted." Me Myself and I - You can't steal someones man, it takes two. BBT and Laura weren't even married so thats garbage. Brads marriage to Jen was already over months before he met Angie. He has stated that himself. Men don't get stolen, thats ridiculous. As hot as she is, you're given her unwanted, and too much credit. I know you love JA so you're trashing Angie, i get it. However, you MUST move on! Brad and Jen are OVER, stop crying about it. BTW, those two movies..Jen was not the star of either of them. The DOG was in MM and the other was an ensemble. Not really an Academy award winning performance in either. Lets just wait for her to carry one ( ala Oscar winner Angelina)) on her own before you get all giddy about her as an actress, Management anyone?

I can't believe this gorgeous lady is only 34! With all her success, compassion, smarts and wisdom, one would thing she would be older. Thats alot of accomplishments at such a young age. She has tons of years ahead of her and something tells me she has just scratched the surface. I am in complete awe of her. What a great role model for our youth. Bravo Angie, you're the best!
Love this woman! As stunning as her looks and talent, they pale in comparison to her humanitarian efforts and charitable work. She deserves all the accolades that have and will come to her. God bless and keep up the good work! Forbes got this one right. My only questions are why Kobe Bryant and Jennifer Aniston are in the top 10? Those are head scratchers.
Jennifer Aniston starred in 2 hits last year... "Marley & Me" & "He's Just Not That Into You". That's why she made it on the list. It's a stupid list anyway... ooooh boy, Angelina Jolie is perfect, again. Funny, they never add "man stealer" to her credentials... considering she stole Pitt from Aniston and Billy Bob Thornton from Laura Dern.
