Adam Lambert made a stop in WABC-TV's popular talk show "Live with Regis and Kelly" on May 27 for a live performance, which can be watched through a newly-found video footage. In the show, he sang a cover version of Tears for Fears' "Mad World", the same song that he delivered during the Idol Top 8 episode and its finale.
Beside taking the mic to make a performance, the runner of "American Idol" season eight also sat down with the show's hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa for an interview. One of the things he talked with the TV personalities was his first gig.
One day before visiting "Live with Regis and Kelly", Adam Lambert appeared in CBS' "Early Show". During the show held at 59th/5th avenue in New York City, he also performed a rendition of the Tears for Fears' 1982 track.
