Although an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" which features Kris Allen as a musical guest will not be aired until May 26, video footage of him singing in the popular talk-show have hit the web. He is captured delivering "No Boundaries", the winning song of "American Idol" season eight, and a rendition of Kanye West's hit single "Heartless".
Beside making a performance, Kris Allen was also taped for an interview with the show's host Ellen DeGeneres. Among other things that he discussed with Ellen were that he thanked his wife Katy O'Connell Allen for being very supportive toward him during the singing competition.
"My wife has been the (best) support ever," the singer explained. "I seriously almost gave up a lot, and she was just like, 'You have to keep going.' She believed in me more than I believed in myself."

Chris sure has class. After watching the AMAs and Adam showing his lack of class and strong immaturity, I am so glad Chris won. It takes more than a voice to make a performer. A true performer respects his audience.
it is a shame the way the cheating is back fireing on this poor guy. he just doesn't cut it. lame and struggling all the time. it is sad.Adam was like a glass of water given to a dehydraded person in the desert. like a drug people wanted more & more of. Kris can't be expected to measure up to that.

I love this style of music. Even though I thought No Boundries is a terrible song I love how Kris can take a song and make it his own. A very cool laid back song.
