Movie beauty Jessica Biel complains during an interview for Allure magazine's June 2009 issue that she often finds her good looks giving her troubles when it comes to securing serious roles in movies because many times people consider her as "Just Another Pretty Face". "Yeah, it really is a problem," she admits. "I have to be blunt."
She then continues to provide one exact evidence, "I'm in there with everybody else, fighting for the good parts. Yes, 'The Illusionist' has made a difference -- but a huge, massive difference, so I can pick and choose what I want? No." She goes on adding, "I just want an opportunity. If you don't like the audition, don't hire me! But if you don't want to even see me -- that's hurtful. And why? You know nothing about me!"
Acting aside, Jessica also faces difficulty in her personal life since the media attention that she receives as an actress often invades her privacy. It "is very tough. I am followed all day, every day. Going to the dentist, the cleaners. I guess I could look like shit going to the dentist, but only if I didn't care what I saw in the papers," she opens up.
The same thing happens to her love relationship with singer boyfriend Justin Timberlake as people tend to compare their popularity. "I mean, you love who you love! It's not like you meet somebody one day and say, 'OK, I'm not going to put up with his fame!' or 'Yes, I am going to put up with his celebrity,'" she explains. "You can't choose that. It just happens to you." Speaking of her and Justin becoming the target of marriage reports, Jessica insists, "I have no idea if I want to get married. I have a lot to do careerwise."
