Green Day have made live appearances in TV show "Saturday Night Live", and their performances can be watched through newly-found video footage. During the May 16 episode, which was hosted by comedian Will Ferrell, this band delivered two songs, "Know Your Enemy" and "21 Guns".
One day prior to their appearances in the NBC's TV show, Green Day stopped by a Manhattan Best Buy for an album signing. "We're up for this," bassist Mike Dirnt told MTV in regard of the event. "It's about memories, and this band is about creating memories for ourselves and for everybody else ... whether it's a live show or an album or signing someone's forehead and getting it tattooed on there."
Green Day have dropped their latest installment "21st Century Breakdown" in U.S. on May 15. In order to support the record, they will embark on a tour this summer. They will kick it off on July 3 in Seattle, WA and finish it up with a live concert in Los Angeles, CA on August 25.
