The recently-crowned "The Biggest Loser" winner paid a visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Friday, May 15 to talk about her victory. At 48, Helen Phillips proved to the world that age does not limit someone from getting slimmer when she lost 140 pounds and became the oldest contestant to win the reality show.
She was welcomed with the song "I Feel Good" and later admitted that she indeed felt good. "I feel like I'm 20. I do," she gushed. Ellen DeGeneres then asked her about the heavy past and Helen answered "It was horrible. I was to the point where I wasn't even getting out of bed. I was so depressed it was drawn." And then she went on that 10 and a half hours waiting in line for the audition was the most fulfilling hours in her life.
Helen said that what happened with her in the past was the fact that after being a mother she became less attentive to herself. "We just basically think we need to spend more time with family and so we take the time away from ourselves," Helen said. "And honestly that was the wrong approach because I think the more time we spend for ourselves, the better we are."
Also in the house as guests were Ewan McGregor who was there to promote his latest film "Angels & Demons" and Pink who addressed her reunion with husband Carey Hart.

Tora if you have such a profoundly interesting life, then what are you doing here? I hate self righteous people who make stupid remarks about being on computers when they're on a damn computer themselves!!!
I always love the comments section of stories like this. There is always at least one or several pathetic lowlifes who have to pick on another who is improving their life. You can tell how many miserable unhappy people are out there just by reading the entries. Who cares about how she looks except her? Who cares about her skin, except her? At least she made a large positive change in her life, and I'll bet that's more than germanshoe ever did. Get a life and spend some time off of your computer. Maybe the activity will increase the endorphins in your small brain so you don't have to feel so bitter all the time.
People in our society these days are so wicked all around. When a person is overweight they get picked on for their appearance and called names behind their back and often even directly. The minute they do something positive with their bodies then they are criticized and put down due to their " looks " and excess skin. Well excess skin can be removed fairly easily with surgery if needed, but I am afraid an ignorant hateful mind is permanent. I support all who want to get healthier. Stop putting others down and work on your own issues as apparently the critics seem to have an awful lot of problems to solve.
Helen Phillips may feel 20 but looks like a middle-aged anorexic in the before and after Biggest Loser pictures. Hopefully she's not going to stay that underweight. Ironic she talks about motherhood after throwing her daughter under the bus to stay on the show herself.
