A representative for the actor has confirmed the news, telling People "I can confirm the Maguires had a baby boy today, and the family is healthy and happy." Name of the newborn infant and further birth details have not been released though.
The baby boy is Tobey and Jennifer's second child. He joins older sister Ruby Sweetheart Maguire, who was born in November 2006.
Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer, who's a jewelry designer, met in 2003 and engaged in 2006. They tied the knot in a secret Hawaiian ceremony on September 3, 2007. Jennifer's second pregnancy was confirmed November last year.
