Video performances showing musical guests, two of whom were Paula Abdul and DAUGHTRY, rocking "American Idol" result show have been found. The show's judge delivered her new single "(I'm Just) Here for the Music", while the rock band fronted by the Idol alum Chris Daughtry sang their new track "No Surprise".

Another performer at the singing competition on May 6 was No Doubt. Sporting black boots and black pants matched with a white tank top and a studded leather belt, the band's singer Gwen Stefani took the mic and invaded the stage alongside her bandmates with their 1995 hit single "Just a Girl".

In between those musicians' live appearances, Ryan Seacrest came onto the Idol stage. He announced the elimination of Allison Iraheta from the competition and so revealed that Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kris Allen are going to face against each other at the next episode of the FOX's hit reality TV show.

Paula did great. It was only her 2nd performance in 13 years, she lipsyched because they didn't want her to mess up and she was dancing her ass of. She has every right to promote her music via the idol stage because she's a judge....plus the producers are trying to do everything to keep her.

Well, Tina... I am going to say something about her lip-synching. I can't stand it when events promote a "live" performance when it's not! On "American Idol", where the voice is EVERYTHING, and the whole show is built around singing live, and the biggest star attached to the show can't even sing live. Don't get me wrong, I like paula, and I'm glad she performed, but perhaps she should have taylor made her dancing to fit into a "real live" performance. Why even pretend to sing? Just dance to the recorded song.

GO PAULA!! she looks HOT. she can dance her ass off. and before anyone says anything about it being lip synched-- she has to do it that way, it's a choreography number. Can't dance the way she does and sing at the same time. and HOLY COW did she dance. Geez she looked amazing! Love the song.

Taylor, there cashin in...don't think they care what you think, nor do I think your right...I'm sure you'd like to be in spot...don't hate, congratulate!

Daughtry is one of the worst things ever happened to "supposed" rock scene. The general public taste is seriously in trouble if this is considered good. More than 4 millions albums sold in USA? Grace of above... this is a shame.

I am totally disapointed with Paula. First I don't believe she has the right to promote her music via the American Idol audience. We watch it to see the contestants not her. Not only did she lip sync, but I have to wonder if it was even her on stage. Why was the stage so dark and soon as the camera was on her, she either hid her face with her hair or hands.

I am a huge fan of Daughtry, aside from Carrie Underwood, they are the BEST thing to come from AI. Also, I know Paula did lip sync, however, you have to give her cudos, she looks hot for a woman of her age. I'm 36 and couldn't even begin to dance around like that.
