Having no plans to date anyone in the near future, Renee Zellweger says she is looking for a boyfriend who is intelligent, creative, and passionate.

AceShowbiz - Staying single since she separated from ex-husband Kenny Chesney in 2005, Renee Zellweger has opened up to Glamour Magazine's "50 Most Glamorous" June 2009 issue about the qualities she is looking for in a man, saying she wants to date someone who is intelligent, creative, and passionate. "Not necessarily the romantic kind," she says about the man of her dream. "I want to learn from someone who is greedy for information and light and laughter and the whole world."
"I'm looking for an encyclopedia and a dictionary," the movie siren describes further. "A bit of the Boy Scouts Handbook. A person who is conscientious about the trail he leaves behind him." She then adds, "Love. Unconditional kindness. Basically, I'm looking for the qualities I revere in my friends."
Having no plans to get back on the dating scene anytime soon, Renee says she would probably change her mind when she has met the right person. "When you think about it, [when you're single] you are not deprived in any way -- if anything, it's a pretty self-indulgent lifestyle. It's selfish. You can make your own decisions and indulge on an impulse," she tells Glamour Magazine about her single status. "If I'm going to give it up, it better be good -- because I'm having fun!", she adds about the possibility of marrying her future soul mate.
Renee, who had her marriage to Kenny being annulled after only four months, claims she doesn't regret her past experience. "I'm grateful for the experiences I've accumulated," she confesses to the publication, the particular issue of which will hit the newsstands next Tuesday, May 12. "Of course, there are certain things you wish were not on that anyone's list of life experiences, but it's a life."
