A music video serving as a promotional effort for Rick Ross' single entitled "All I Really Want" has just made its way out. Directed by Gil Green, the video guest starring The-Dream was filmed in Medellin, Colombia in "the exact spot where they shot [Colombian drug kingpin] Pablo Escobar in the head."
On the reaction he received from his entourage when he first mentioned his desire of shooting the video in the country which has been home of the most violent and sophisticated drug trafficking organizations in the world, Rick told MTV, "To be honest, everybody thought about their safety." He also got the same reaction from The-Dream.
"Everybody got on laptops, Googled," Rick continued explaining. "First thing that came up was 'car bombs,' 'hostages,' this, that and all that. I told them, 'We got some good friends over there. It's a beautiful spot.' Even though I'm really gassing them [at that point], they rolled with me. They believed in my concept."
"All I Really Want" is a song where Rick Ross joins forces with The-Dream. The Christopher "Tricky" Stewart-produced track is lifted from his third studio album "Deeper Than Rap", which has been in stores since April.

Medellin, even Colombia have both come such a long successful way since all the violence that plagued back in the late 80's early 90's. Living those years back then compared to what Medellin is now it is truly unbelievable just sends chills down my spine thinking of it. I am so proud to have been born in Medellin, and so proud that an international artist films a video in Medallo. Unfortunately the media just turns everything upside and depicts the wrong image of what Medellin truly is and has become. What an awesome video!!
We are the most secure city in Colombia because we got tired of that narco terrorist (Pablo Escobar). We all hate him. Right now we have beautiful hotels and they are all full of Americans, Australians, Europeans, etc.
I live here in Medellín. It´s great to have international artists like RR here in our Beautiful Medellín. Unfortunately there are bad intentional people like the reporter that wrote this article, which says that we are the most violent city in the world, and many other bad things. I want to tell everybody in the world that Pablo Escobar was killed 15 years ago and all of his "cartel" has also dissapeared thanks to our great and efficient armed forces. It´s sad how one bad guy (Pablo Escobar) can make our city seem the number one in violence. That is not true...

I'm ColOmbian and just wanted to say that it's great that RR is handling his biz and what not...my comment is for the writer of this story..if you're gonna be taken seriously, then double check your spelling and realize that you spelled COLOMBIAN wrong...it just makes you lose credibility and the media does the same thing alllllll the time...Columbia is in the U.S....COLOMBIA is in South America.
