Lil' Kim has always been on top of the game but after the Monday, May 4 performance, she was let go from "Dancing with the Stars". Receiving only 52 out of 60 from the judges, Kim and her partner Derek Hough were bound to be in the bottom list along with Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower. But audience apparently were rooting for the rodeo star.
"She's an amazing person, an amazing soul, an amazing spirit and an amazing dancer," Hough said of Kim. The star herself was high in spirit although eliminated. She said, "This is one of the greatest experiences I've ever experienced in my life. I think I brought different viewers."
The result was read on Tuesday, May 5 where Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani brought an encore of their perfect 30 Samba. There was also the jazzy performance from Jamie Cullum that serenaded the quickstep of Agnieszka Kazmierczak and Urs Gaisenhainer.
Also presented was the professional competition that included also previous competitors such as Cody Linley, Lisa Rinna and Maurice Greene.

STOP being predjudiced!Facts are facts she was good. She was not outrageous or lude. She learned and practiced and danced and she danced well, nothing else matters. Stop judging her by her reputation or should I say her public image which she adopts for her career.If you like to judge so much don't bitch when someone who matters hates you for some stupid illogical reason.
I think it was a sad day for DWS when Kim was voted off and we all knew that she was one of the best three dancers. I felt that when the judges gave her a 25, she was going to be in the bottom and get voted off. They were very hard on her as if they wanted her off. I think we all should vote for Ty so he can win, and this will show how stupid the show is in their selection process. Kim was really done wrong and I was a big fan of the show, but may not watch it any more.The excitement has been voted off the show, so why watch.

Lil kim was good just like Vivica fox, Monique Coleman, Sabrina Brian, Mel B and many others. But because of fans and their personalities and beliefs, competence and skill does not matter.The show relies on people and their own judgement and unfortunately this is decided by race,social status and many other deciding factors that rule society today.She was good, no matter who she was, but people including the judges pick their favorites and stick to them.

i like Ty, the cowboy dude, but he can't dance his way out of a wet paper bag. kudos for his improvement from a virtual tin man, but no way should he have remained on the show with Lil Kim voted off. i'm so disappointed and not sure if i will keep watching or not. (you think he got votes just for being jewel's hubby or something?)
can't watch any more. whether it is rigged or the scoring system is messed up, there is no way Ty should still be there.
I was absoultely dissapointed with the elimination. LIL KIM was absolutely by far the BEST DANCER this SEASON. I'm apalled at the fact that Kim danced at the beginning of the season, minor injuries, and danced every week consistently...whereas Melissa Rycroft...was injured and couldn't danced still gets through and TY MURRAY was not good. I understand that he's trying and trying but he's just not going to improve and it's time for him to go....it's a competition and I blame this on Carrie Ann who back a couple of weeks ago instilled into America and TY that "Your not a natural dancer...that's what this competition is a ll about"...NO NO NO....IT IS A BALLROOM COMPETITION not a popularity contest. I just feel overwhelmed how America glorifies on this and votes for non talented dancers and then complain about it. I was so loving this season and now I am hugely dissapointed and actually want this season to end....what a bummer. I knew GILLES, MELISSA and SHAWN weren't going anywhere....it's so sad that LIL KIM had to be the one to leave becasue as far as I am concerned SHE WAS WAY BETTER THAN GILLES or MELISSA!!!!!!.
I like Ty but Kim was the better dancer. Ty can't control who voted and who didn't so let's be realistic and quit slamming him. ABC needs to revise how the couple's fan votes are weighted. Because of ratings the network obviously let the fans decide who they like to see....not necessarily who is the best dancer.
The elimination of Lil Kim was a total scam! Melissa has been the designated winner since episode one. We've gone from the judges ignoring Melissa's mistakes in the beginning while grading down other competitors for the exact same missteps to now they blatantly take out any competition to their girl. Just ain't right! Everyone should vote for Giles or Shawn to throw a wrench in the network plan. But they will figure out a way to make her the winner anyway.

Now I can go back to watching Countdown with Keith Olderman at 8:00 PM instead of 10:00. WIth Kim gone, there is no reason to keep watching. Totally Rigged!
What a huge disappointment. This is the fourth time DWTS have rigged the show to eliminate an achieved dancer. If people stop watching maybe ABC will act responsibly and stay true to evaluating dancing not personality popularity!!
I was shocked that Lil Kim was voted off last night! The DWTS voting format must be changed to allow less emphasis on the audience votes because, as noted by healergirl, the audience doesn't know what they're looking for. They vote for their favourite personality, not the best dancer. Also, please leave race out of this MSDIVAPATRICE - I am a white woman and I thought Lil Kim deserved to WIN the contest because she was the best dancer - black, white, yellow, or red!
Lil Kim did a fantastic job. The voting was affair. The comments used to refer to Lil Kim would not have been said to a White woman. Lil Kim proved she is a talented versatile African American female.

My mother was a professional dancer, but unfortunately, DWTS has turned into a popularity contest. Lil Kim was one of the top 2, and no way should have gone home last night. Too bad, something that started out so unpretentious has turned into more Hollywood hoopla. I don't blame the judges, they shouldn't open up a dance contest to the public, most people don't know what they're looking for.

Don't blame the voters. Blame Len Goodman. If he hadn't been so nasty to Ty, he would be gone. But, MANY people vote for Ty, to spite Goodman. You can't be mean to a very popular guy. Even if he isn't the best dancer on the show.

I refuse to watch Dancing with the stars again. When the "cowboy" remains and Kim was eliminated, the show is back to a personality contest and not a dancing contest. This show should be evaluaed by ABC and taken off the air. It is the biggest joke on TV

Lil Kim, I think you brought a positive light and good heart to the show, plus loads of talent and spark. Your elimination makes me want to boycott the show. You are a winner, no matter what - can't believe you are gone when another who cannot dance remains. Good job girl!!!
Lets leave the race out of it MsDivaPatrice. It's about votes! I'm black too, and Lil Kim was great. I'm shocked that she got eliminated. I watched it because of her. As far as the comment about the "tramp," maybe MS.DIVAPATRICE should pick up a lil Kim CD. Your issue should be with her not Bruno.
