'Help Me Spread Goodness', Ben Stiller's Next Directing Project
Movie

Comedian Ben Stiller is expected to direct 'Help Me Spread Goodness' after he is finished with his work on 'The Trial of the Chicago 7'.

AceShowbiz - Ben Stiller's next feature film project will be "Help Me Spread Goodness". The 43-year-old funny man has been set by Participant Media to inject some comedy into the upcoming drama with him serving behind the lens as the project's director.

This project won't be Stiller's first. He has been credited as the helmer of several movies, including 2008's "Tropic Thunder". For the project, the Greg Focker of "Meet the Parents" series is expected to bring the story of a Chicago banker who gets swindled in a Nigerian Internet scam, into production when he is finished directing "The Trial of the Chicago 7".

Beside being tapped as director, the actor who will soon be seen in "Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian" will also produce the project with Red Hour partners, Stuart Kornfeld and Jeremy Kramer. Nonetheless, it isn't clear whether he will star in this proposed movie or not.

"Help Me Spread Goodness" is written by Mark Friedman and developed by Participant Media executives, vice president Jonathan King and president Ricky Strauss. The film is expected to provide entertainment as well as shed light on the current issues in both Nigeria and other African countries.
