FOX may have taken the previous two national addresses by Barack Obama for their primetime slot, but it won't have it the third time. The network has decided to hand over the President's 100th-day press conference to its sister cable networks, Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.

The address was scheduled to be broadcast on Wednesday, April 29 at 8/7c. But FOX, according to some sources, thinks that it could hurt the rating of "" result show that begins 9/8c. Thus, "" will retain its schedule and Fox will give on-screen graphic on the updated coverage of the address during the show.

"Fox will be alerting viewers with an on-screen graphic at the top of the 8:00 PM (ET) hour that the press conference is available on Fox News Channel and the Fox Business Network," a Fox statement said.

Over at ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS, the press conference will go as plan, live.

FOX, reportedly are trying to reduce the risk of losing more advertisers due to the White House request of broadcast time. Sources said the previous two had not registered high ratings which could be a bad lead for "Idol".

Yay! Not a problem on my part - I'd rather see Adam Lambert than the President. Sorry, Pres, keep up the good work, though.

These press conferences are scripted and nobody gets to ask an off the cuff question. It's a joke that's why nobody bothers to watch them. Bring on IDOL!
