Indeed, one of the loudest and most controversial exits of "The Apprentice", the celebrity edition on Sunday, April 26 has drawn an aftermath. Melissa Rivers who was fired and refused to do an exit interview may not be friends with Annie Duke anymore, as both are still taking stance in their beliefs.
Melissa for the first time spoke about her lash at team mates Brande Roderick and Annie to Access Hollywood. "I knew going into the boardroom, that if we did not win, it was going to be two on one," Melissa said, adding that she "probably could have handled it a little bit better".
Melissa also noticed the note that Donald Trump passed to guest judge Jim Kramer, where he thought Melissa should be the one fired. "I noticed it at the time. Do I agree? No! Am I gonna argue with Donald? No," Melissa squared it off. On the last note, Melissa added that calling Annie "pit vipers" is something she 'regretted'. She said, "I wish that I could have come up with a few more colorful adjectives."
Annie herself took her side of story to Poker Daily News, saying that she was not intimidated by the foul words directed at her. "...I can see where people might develop a bad opinion of me. I understand that people think I called Brande Roderick an idiot, but I didn't. If you believe that, then I look like an asshole. I understand that people think I'm too aggressive or too in your face."
Saying that she did not want to reward Melissa because she's a "crap", Annie further explained what happened to Melissa in the board room. "She felt like I was throwing her under the bus. However, she threw herself under the bus so beautifully that I didn't have to say a word."
"If people are wondering why I had so much to do during the task, but wasn't under attack in the boardroom, it was because Right Guard said they liked the concept, but not the photography and layout. Those were the only two things I didn't do. Melissa was in charge of the photography, so it was either Melissa or Brande at fault."
During the board room, Melissa in fact was defended by her mother Joan Rivers who called Brande Roderick and Annie Duke "a Nazi and a follower". Next week, it will be found out whether Joan who was in winning team but stormed out of the room as well, will be back or not.

Well, for being unbiased, I should say, the last task, Annie can do better. and more strategic debate would be better, yet not to lose it despite the terrible words. And Joan is indeed energetic for her age, and much older than Donald Trump, I don't think he would fire her. Yet Annie's connection is amazing, people came for her with cash, for charity, and Joan's network was not as good, her so called friends througn so many years were not willing to give her money, even for such a great charity she represented, I think that says for itself in term of who is the better people here. And Joan said in the episode when she quited, she said it was not about charity herself. I liked her before, in the earlier season, but now... And Melissa, I think being her daughter, she turned out not so bad, she was embarrassed when her mother was insulting Annie, and she said "She is a 76 years old woman, I cannot control her".
all the signs indicate that, and I am not happy to say, the show is fixed I like this show, but this is a huge disappointment.On each and every level, Annie is better, fund raising, event planning, reasoning, and character, I cannot bear to see such a horrible person with filthy month, trash talking the other human being, and the editing of the last episode is also questionable. why is Joan's quiting, verbal abuse, wrong doing(pissed of the event planner) should be overlooked. and the final decision is such a disgrace to the show. Last season, Piers won, I have no second word, he was the best of them, while this season, Annie is by far the most eligible candidate, yet being fired, I just cannot make sense out of it !

I can't believe that the Donald is letting that foul mouthed, plastic faced, Jew slut be in the top 2. She should have kicked off long ago for insulting just about every player on the show. Annie Duke may be very smart in playing people,and in playing Poker, but as a person she is the biggest loser. Melissa should have not exited so badly but I cant blame her. I am sure working with those two "high school kids"--Brandi and Annie-she had her fill and could not take anymore! Joan is a class act and I hope she beats Annie and sends Annie back to the poker table in two pieces! Brandi was only there because she was eye candy for the Donald and his son Donald Jr. Earlier in the season I liked Brandi but she got stuck up and two faced when she joined the likes of Queen of Two faces Annie Duke! Go get em, Joan!

I think it's in poor taste to quit the show when it's for charity. Since Joan decided to throw a temper tantrum, her charity misses out on possibly getting more money for there cause.

I think Annie deserves to win. She has raised the most money. She works very hard at every task and she can read people. It doesn't matter if you like her or not- she is the best! I like her approach to every task. Joan and Melissa were obnoxious.
Was this how they fought and screamed in the ghettoes of Warsaw, Krakow,and Prague before WWII? The solution this time was to dump their asses off the show, assuming Joan stays off. Good riddance to garbage, much worse than trash.
It's amazing how much these people cast charity aside in favor of self-promotion. Entertaining of course, but a shame that they take their eye off the greater good to appease themselves first. Society sucks.
I don't blame Joan for leaving. The wrong person was voted off. It by far, should of been Brandi. And for Annie; I can't stand looking at her. That smile of hers drives me nuts. I enjoyed watching the show mainly because of Joan and Melissa. With the two of them gone, I lost interest. Too bad, as I looked forward to it every Sunday night.

Hi! I only recently started watching this show. I actually was going to avoid it altogether and the only reason I started watching was because of Joan & Melissa. I've been a fan of Joan Rivers for years. I admit that the behaviour I've seen has not shown her off to her best advantage, but can appreciate that emotions are running high - add in the mother-daughter relationship and they are playing with fire! I also think that the "Nazi" reference was uncalled for, but find it rather amusing that one poster here talked about how offended he/she was by the use of this term as were other Jewish people - um, perhaps this person should know that Joan Rivers is in fact Jewish! Quite frankly, I think the whole show will lose a lot if she exits (bad botox or not, she is entertaining and a heck of lot more fun to watch than Annie what's her name!!!
Melissa shot herself in the foot by not making a clear case for herself in the boardroom. If she clearly and calmly described what Annie did, and pointed out Brande's lack of awareness and skill, she might have had a chance. Her outburst later was sad and inappropriate. If this so-called game made sense, Annie or, Brande should have been fired. Brande for not having the managerial sense to see that Annie was taking over and to put her in her place, and in Annie's case for taking over and failing to win. Early on in the show, Melissa was doing a good job, she certainly deserves credit for the reason her team won the cupcake competion, and I recall Annie trying to undermine that. Melissa should have countered Annie's assertion that the part of the project she had no control over was the reason they lost. Brande could have been blamed, or, Annie for her refusal to be reponsible as a team player. She would have come out looking a lot stronger. I will miss Joan. Her crack about Annie needing two surgeons for a facelift was the funniest crack I have seen on the show. That said, I think the show is not worth keeping around after this season. Trump is crass, sexist and not even funny.
I sat in front of my tv shocked at the filthy words coming out of both of the Rivers sluts. They are both very well paid adults that acted like two sluts who were discovered for the true losers they are. Annie DOES know how to read people that does NOT mean she sholud be verbally assulted by two NAZI loving tramps. Trump loves high ratings and boy I bet they went thru the roof . Would you like your children to watch that show with the way those two morons acted ? When this season started I WAS a fan of annie dukey. After the rivers exit I have an extreme dislike for annie dukey....she is a snake and one of the most unlikeable people I have ever watched on T.V. The note passing was a set-up. Who knows maybe brandy is gonna be the next mrs.badhairtrump. Regardless I won't be watching this show anymore ever nor will I watch anything to do with the snake or Mr.badhair. Annie is always bragging about raising 4 kids but between her poker playing and t.v. doesn't leave much time for child rearing she gives poker players a bad name. Melissa is a no talent, celebrity's kid and needs to grow up and do a day of honest, grass roots, hard work to bring her back to reality. I may not like Annie but she sure reminds me of 99.9% of the women I work with in the Corporate world. Back stabbing, two faced, desparate, maneating, unethical and desparate to make up for their dysfunctional childhood or highschool woes.
I love the Rivers! They make this show interesting. Melissa being fired was totally another stupid Trump stunt. If Joan doesn't return, this scheme will have backfired. Melissa may have exited poorly but after having seen the show, I have more respect for her abilities and Joan is and will always be priceless. Annie may be smart but she lacks people skills. Both Rivers women have shown they excel in this area. I hope Joan wins!

This show should stop after tihs season. Why Brandee is still in the show? Is it b/c Trump had asked her out in the past??? He said something like that....I don't think she is a smart lady...but she sure has looks..I won't be surprised if Brande becomes the next apprentice...
Melissa Rivers needs to take Joan's breast out of her mouth and grow up. I have never done such a 180 in my life on a celebrity. I always like Joan UNTIL NOW. She is a horrid, horrid shrew of a woman. Calling people Nazis, coming from a Jew!, is out of line. Her hate speech, her horrible behavior toward Clint and her obscene mouth have made me hate her. Until the day she dies, I will never have a good thing to say about her.

This is for charity. The Rivers should be ashamed of themselves plain and simple. If a friend of mine ever embarrassed me by acting so childish in front of my other friends, or worse business partners, I would have to have a serious sit down with them and let them know they need to cure the crazy or we can't be friends. At the very least they would be off But it goes beyond that. The Rivers have shown themselves for what they truly are; unimaginably insane... and racist. Joan Rivers' career is now over as no will ever want to work with the crazy bitch. Watch the photo shoot; Melissa watches people working, listens to them say something, then repeats it with conviction as if she had just come up with the idea. Watch the look the photographer/photo shoot director gives her when she tried to do it to him; it's quick but it's telling.

I have NEVER seen such poor sportsmanship in my life as that exhibited by Joan Rivers and her daughter, Melissa. And over a GAME for CHARITY?!? They are horrible people and need to take a long look in the mirror, past all the plastic and think about how they behave. I've disagreed with a number of firing choices Trump has made including Khloe Kardasian (her DUI has NOTHING to do with this show) and him keeping Rodman around too long. But there is a way you behave particularly when you're playing a game for charity and clearly, the Rivers girls are not good people.
Joan and Melissa are washed up losers, plain and simple. The level of hypocrisy they displayed was hilarious - had they been successful in getting together to boot off Annie or Brande they would have revered themselves as cunning, alas they lost and displayed their true senile and immature selves.

Has she not heard about what Hitler did ? Wake up! Annie was interrupting Mellisa ON PURPOSE. She knows that both Melissa and Joan have serious anger management issues. Joan did good this week during the task itself unlike Melissa but she was so EASY to manipulate into self-destruction. Neither have the temperament required to be survive in in the long term in business. The may have the intellectual capacity but the lack the proper emotional control that Annie is so good at doing. She even admitted on camera to having manipulated Melissa at one point with the aside conversation. This is simply the requirements of what it takes to eliminate people like Melissa whose maturity level is way below the mental capacity. Annie must also knows Melissa is Joan's weak point and that she can eliminate Joan by using Melissa. I suspect that is Joan cools of and comes back Donald will let her since she's the only real competition Annie has. Jesse is smart but he lacks the "passion" Donald claims he's looking for. If Annie doesn't win who can, everyone else has weaknesses. It's not about being NICE. It's not called Celebrity Sweetheart. If it was Herschel Walker and Brande Roderick would be the finalists. I agree with first poster "None". There was no legit reason Melissa should be fired. Brande let the task be taken over by Annie - much the same way Clint took over last week's PM Herschel - Herschel was fired. Same scenario but now we bring money into the picture? Not in line with the way the show has been in the past; I thought it was a joke at first. I have no respect for Annie and a great new love for Joan & Melissa. I believe Annie & Brande plotted together to make it so that they would be safe, based on the fund-raising. Not that Melissa was super charged, but I'd choose her to work over Brande any day!
Wow! I cannot believe the performance of the Rivers children. Melissa has come across as a spoiled child that mommy will get me anything I want. Life is not always getting along with the people you work with but maturity helps you deal with it. Suck it up Joan & Melissa and grow up.
Seriously, i'm DONE watching this show. I kind of got into it this year and kinda thought my opinion of Donald was wrong, ooops, no it wasn't. It ticks me off that the idiot Kramer says well Brande I was expecting "this" from you, THEN she says what he said to say then she was safe?? WTF?? Where was that statement before? Oh and I thought the competition was based on the CURRENT TASK, not past tasks or what you hypothetically will do on future tasks... I hope Joan stays away to prove a point!
Did Annie not get the memo that junior high is over? She and Brandi looked ridiculous when they completely ignored Melissa's ideas. Melissa was being professional and throwing out ideas, even though she was in an uncomfortable situation of being the odd man out, yet Annie and Brandi behaved like junior high mean girls. Annie Duke needs to grow up and quit being so nasty and passive/aggressive (ie,' I never made it personal'; 'Melissa threw herself under the bus beautifully'). Seems to me the Rivers are the only ones being up front and honest; Annie has just deluded herself into thinking she's 'innocent' and 'nice'. She's a snake.
Rivers behaved like a 12 year old and completely embarrassed herself. perhaps she has been under her mothers protective wing so long, she never learned how to function in competitive situations. Some og the things she said in the board room revealed a poignant lack of "real world" politics (competing without a powerful pitbull mother).
