Robert Pattinson continues his partnership with Summit Entertainment with a new film which will be produced by the studio. Over the weekend, it was reported that the Edward in "Twilight" series, will be starring in a new pic called "Remember Me".

Little are shared of the movie but Screen Daily pointed that the movie will be given a shout out at this year's Cannes Festival which will be kicked off on May 13 and wrapped on May 24. The film will be presented to a number of buyers present at the festival, along with three other titles.

"Hollywoodland" director Allen Coulter will helm the project and a female lead is reportedly being cast. Summit co-chairman and CEO Patrick Wachsberger said that the film is about "this generation's love story". Jenny Lumet who penned "Rachel Getting Married" will provide the script which reportedly is in its latest draft.

Shooting will begin this summer in New York. Pattinson will take a break from the shooting of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" and "Eclipse" in order to shoot this film. "New Moon" wraps the shooting in May while "Eclipse" begins in August.

Gee, what´s the big deal about R.P? He´s just an ordinary guy who has made it. Leave him alone. He´s not the only one on the planet. Besides the movie is not quite following the books. There are so much more emotion in the books I can´t find in the movie. Sorry

I'm very excited in any new projects for Rob. Bliss. I hoep he also gets a huge franchise too - other than twilight. The Houdini one with summit also looks good. Or the Pompeii film.

Kat Denning with Rob would be awesome.I'm sick of Kristen Stewart. Rob needs a better actress to work with.

I'm actually surprised, I read in many articles that Robert is retiring after the twilight series are over, if that is his plan, I dont know why he keeps signing on to do movies if he is so gung-ho on wrapping up his movie career?

NO. Mr.Pattinson cannot retire just yet. We need him to bring new blood to the movie industry. He just brought back glamour and sexiness to the screen. He can be the next Robert (Redford) my idol. Besides he has an American accent that many British actors cannot master. I will see all your movies.
