Overture Films have presented the first trailer of "Paper Heart" via Apple. Capturing the essence of the movie, the promotional video presents first Charlyne Yi as the girl who doesn't believe in love and goes on a journey across the States with her good friend director Nicholas Jasenovec in search for answers and advice about love.
The trailer moves on showing scenes of Charlyne speaking with friends, strangers, scientists, bikers, romance novelists, and children about love. Then, she meets Michael Cera who shows his interest in her and attempts to get to know her better. As their relationship develops on camera, Charlyne's pursuit to discover the nature of love takes on a fresh new urgency.
A Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award-winning movie at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, "Paper Heart" combines elements of documentary and traditional storytelling, bringing a fresh perspective to the modern romance and redefining the classic love story. Picked up by Overture Films, it will be released in limited theaters across the U.S. on August 7.
