Evan Spiliotopoulos, the co-writer of 'Pooh's Heffalump Movie', has been hired to replace original writers, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, in writing the screenplay for 'Wanted 2'.

Director Timur Bekmambetov, who helmed the first film, is attached to direct this sequel. It is not known if James McAvoy will return to reprise his role as Wesley Gibson, but words are, the producers are trying to get him back.
