AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus' singer father Billy Ray Cyrus has broken his silence on the negative comments that Jamie Foxx addressed to his famous daughter, telling Bonnie Hunt during an appearance on "The Bonnie Hunt Show" aired on Thursday, April 16, "It was hurtful, there wasn't nothing funny about it." The elder Cyrus went on complaining, "And quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter he might not find it so comedic."
Jamie Foxx set tongue wagging when he targeted Miley Cyrus during his Sirius radio show "The Foxxhole" over the weekend, telling her to make "make a sex tape" and "do some heroin". Blaming the Disney teen sensation for publicly declaring to ruin Radiohead's career after the band refused to meet her at the 51st annual Grammy Awards back on February 8, the actor-comedian told her to "grow up, ..... get like Britney Spears, ...... do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe ..... And catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat."
However, Foxx was quick to issue an apology due to the criticisms people addressed to him. During an interview on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Tuesday, April 14, he was quoted as saying, "I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere."
"I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don't mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far," he explained further. "I have a radio show ... We're really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart."
Miley herself has not yet commented on Foxx's negative comments on her.
