The official cast list for "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" has finally been unraveled. Through a press release put out Wednesday, April 15, Summit Entertainment announced who are joining Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner as the "Twilight" sequel's new cast members in addition to providing confirmation to the previously announced members.
"The Volturi include Charlie Bewley as Demetri, Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius, Daniel Cudmore as Felix, Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus, all Volturi enforcers," so read the press release of the Volturi members. "Dakota Fanning plays Jane, a high-ranking and powerful Volturi member, and Cameron Bright is Alec, her brother. Noot Seear plays Volturi member Heidi. Michael Sheen plays Aro, the Volturi leader."
On the Quileute Indian Nation cast, Summit revealed that there are two additional cast members. "Dances With Wolves" actor Graham Greene will appear as Harry Clearwater, the Quileute tribal leader and an old friend of Bella's father Charlie, while Canadian actress Tinsel Korey is going to star as Emily, the fiancee of Sam Uley.
The announcement also affirmed the return of several original cast members. "Rejoining the movie are Ashley Greene as Alice, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper, Edi Gathegi as Laurent and Rachelle Lafevre as Victoria," it was noted in the press release.
Quickly after the outing of the press release, MTV reported that there is one original cast missing from the list, Billy Burke who plays Bella Swan's police officer father, Charlie, in the first vampire drama. Putting down any possible speculation that Burke's character has been scrapped from the sequel, MTV reported an insider has confirmed that the actor will be returning as Charlie.
"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" follows Bella Swan as she is left devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward. But, her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested. The movie has officially begun its principal photography in Vancouver with the aim for November 20 U.S. release.

I'm really excited about New Moon. I, too, can't believe that Dakota Fanning is playing Jane? I was dumbfounded. I'm anticipating a great movie. I did think that Caius's, and Aro's would be a little more older looking. From the trailers, it looks like its going to be great. And i saw that they're not making a breaking dawn? That would suck if they made a Twilight,New Moon, and Eclipse, and didnt make a Breaking Dawn, i'm curious to see what Renesmee would look like. [:

Okay heres what I think, yes the movie sucked compared to the book but i mean the book was amazing it would have sucked either way. Dakota Fanning is an Amazing actress and anyone to damn blind to see that can go u know where.Second Kristen is also an amazing actress just not at playing bella, but maybe she'll be better now since she's actually in love with the guy who plays edward.Third and final Jacob can go to hell for all i care, i hated him ever since bella first met him in twilight. he is so boring and he made new moon my least favora]ite book because it was boring all 300 pages that it talked about him. so that is my opinion. ^_^

Gotta agree with Lydia and OMG...Twilight the movie fell way short of the book, but then again most movies do. Kristin and Edward definitely look the part but the sarcastic and flirty exchange was off in the movie but it came out okay. Just shows what lower budget films will get you. Hopefully New Moon will get closer this time. Dakota can pull off this role- but something major needs to happen with her hair. This should be interesting.

Twilight wasnt that great. I loved the book. But the movie sucked.They left out key points that were in the book. Kristen is one of my favorite actresses and a great actress but as bella she didnt do a great job. Hopefully she can redeem herself in new moon.I think if she has good coaching or reads the books she could make a great bella. She doesnt need to give up.I've seen movies of hers and she can pull of some pretty diffcult roles.She can do it we just need to keep rooting for her. The rest of the cast did a fabulous job.
