Pics: Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift Rock 2009 ACM Awards' Orange Carpet

The 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which was held at the MGM Grand Hotel on Sunday, April 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada, was a star-studded event with the likes of Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift being among the many stars in attendance. Some other Hollywood famous celebs who were also present at the event included Kellie Pickler, LeAnn Rimes, Nicole Kidman and Kidman's husband Keith Urban.

Tapped to sing her hit song "The Climb" during the awards ceremony, Miley hit the gala's orange carpet donning a Monique L'hullier dress with jewel details. She finished off her look with a pair of Cole Haan shoes and H Stern jewelry. Miley's singer father Billy Ray Cyrus also posed with her on the orange carpet. He wore all-black top and paired it up with jeans.

Meanwhile, Miley's best female friend, Taylor, arrived at the ceremony wearing a red one-shoulder Angel Sanchez gown. She was also spotted sporting Neil Lane jewels, VBH clutch and Louboutin heels. The young country music star, moreover, took time to pose with "American Idol" contestant Kellie, who wore a gold fishtail gown and carried a matching clutch.

As for LeAnn and Nicole, both of them wore black outfits to the yearly event. Keith, in the meantime, wore a gray coat on top of his white shirt. He paired them up with gray trousers, black tie, and black shoes.

Several other guests who also attended the awards event included Julianne Hough and boyfriend Chuck Wicks, Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves, and also former "American Idol" champion Carrie Underwood.
