While "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is still about two months away from its theatrical release, director Michael Bay has come out with one major spoiler of the "Transformers" sequel, revealing which character will have a short span of life. [SPOILERS AHEAD] In an interview with MTV, Thursday, April 2, the filmmaker confessed that he decided to kill pink Autobot Arcee.

Revealing the matter at 2009 ShoWest, the 44-year-old bluntly said, "You know what? I didn't like Arcee, so I kill her later, all right?" He furthermore explained his reason of the female robot elimination, stating "You know what? It's like actors. There are certain actors that blossom on screen, and there are certain others where you're like, 'Yuck, I'm cutting them out of the movie.'"

Bay, in addition, insisted that Arcee's sudden death won't have emotional impact. "This isn't sad," he gushed. "This is just 'get it out and get it over with.'" On the speculation that Arcee will be the motorcycle ridden by leading actress Megan Fox, he only had this to say, "No. She has nothing to do with Megan."

On another "Revenge of the Fallen" news, a full footage of the action movie has been shown at ShoWest when Michael Bay was honored with a Director of the Year award. The footage reportedly contains scene where Shia LaBeouf's Sam Witwicky and Megan Fox's Mikaela Banes go into Sam's parents' garage to talk with Bumblebee.

As the footage continues, it can be seen that Sam tells Bumblebee that he's going away to college and can't bring him along, prompting the robot to spray water from his head as if he was crying. Complete description of the footage can be read via Ain't It Cool News. In the meantime, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" will arrive in U.S. theaters on June 24.

Also, since Mikaela is now an imprtant part of the plot, an ALLY to the Autobots AND Sam's girlfriend...would'nt she need a PROTECTOR like Sam's Camaro, Bumblebee?

Bay COULD be spreading disinformation about ARCEE's death, AND that she has NOTHING to do with Megan Fox's character...in one of the trailers, I saw Megan sitting on a MOTORCYCLE. hmm.

People say that female Transformers don't make sense. Neither do MALES! They are all robots so technically they are 'its.' I suppose it is easier to dismiss females as 'the other' since we as society are still in that primitive frame of mind. Michael Bay likes to cause speculation but if Arcee dies he will face the wrath of all female fandom!
