A first real look into Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy "Bruno" has been shared through a brand new international red band trailer. Posted in MySpace for restricted audiences, the mockumentary's trailer presents similar shenanigans one saw in Cohen's previous controversial comedy, "Borat".
This trailer provides sneak peeks at several of the news headlines Cohen has created during the filming of the comedy film. It shows glimpses of Bruno creating a frenzy at Agatha Ruiz de la Prada's show in Milan late last year as well as him pulling a prank on the Alabama National Guard. In addition to those craziness, this gay character is also seen adopting an African American baby.
Directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Dan Mazer, "Bruno" is developed from one of Cohen's noted characters in comedy television series "Da Ali G Show". Taking the format of "Borat", the movie is said to highlight the interviews between the eccentric gay Austrian fashion reporter and unsuspecting guests, which allegedly include Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ben Affleck. It is set to open in U.S. theaters on July 10.
