Kristen Stewart on Bella's Struggles in 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon'
Movie

Talking about what differentiates 'New Moon' to 'Twilight', Kristen Stewart spills the bean that Bella is forced to grow up in the sequel of 2008 hit vampire drama.

AceShowbiz - "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" won't be all "sunshine and roses", according to Kristen Stewart. In an interview with Los Angeles Times' The Dish Rag, the 18-year-old stressed that the vampire drama sequel will be more tragic than "Twilight" as her character, Bella will be struggling through the loss of her lover, Edward Cullen.

"It's a different movie, a lot happens," the "Into the Wild" actress shared. "She loses him, which is certainly a crazy concept for me to accept because that's the basis for the entire first movie." Stewart, in addition, explained how the loss affects Bella, "She grows up, quite a bit. She's forced to, and she's got strength and inner determination. A lot of people in her situation would be like, 'OK, done.'"

When asked whether it is more difficult to do the sequel compared to the first one, the co-star of Robert Pattinson in the vampire saga only has this to say, "The beginning is different. Preproduction is different. I'm not trying to make something; it's already there, just going back into it. Different. It's just a continuation." The video of Kristen Stewart's interview with The Dish Rag can be seen via Los Angeles Times.

"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" will be directed by "The Golden Compass" helmer Chris Weitz using the script penned by "Twilight" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg. Centering on the personal conflict Bella experiences following Edward Cullen's abrupt departure, it will see Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner among other original stars reprising their roles. Summit Entertainment has set the movie to hit U.S. theaters on November 20.
