MSN has got its hands on six brand new character posters of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". With a glowing background effect making as if one is peeking through a pensieve, the character posters provide individual look at Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter, Emma Watson's Hermione Granger, Rupert Grint's Ron Weasley, Michael Gambon's Albus Dumbledore, Alan Rickman's Severus Snape and Tom Felton's Draco Malfoy.

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will center its story at the time when Voldemort's grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds is tightening. With Hogwarts no longer being the safe haven it once was, Dumbledore begins to prepare Harry for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Bringing in his old friend and colleague Professor Horace Slughorn, he works together with Harry to unlock Voldemort's defenses.

Despite the ever growing danger, love is in the air for the students of Hogwarts. Harry finds himself more and more attracted to Ginny, and finds out that so is Dean Thomas. While Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, Ron gets distracted by Romilda Vane. Hermione, on the other hand, determines not to show her jealousy.

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is starred by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Bonnie Wright, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane and many others. Rated PG, it is directed by "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" helmer David Yates. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the movie in U.K. and U.S. simultaneously on July 17.

The trailers can llok as awesome as they want, but I've no doubt they'll butcher this one just like they did the last three. One and Two were good, but it was all downhill from there. -____-
