Tonight (March 24), "The Real Housewives of New York City" are getting busy during the fashion week. And true to their competitive nature, the claws are once again out even when a celebrity is involved. Clips from the drama and the mess are available as preview.
Jill is hosting the Zang Toi fashion show private luncheon and is light on housewife attendance since Jill says Bethenny is the only one that can afford the fashions. Unimpressed with Kelly's name-dropping, Bethenny gives Kelly the cold shoulder when the two are forced to sit next to each other at another one of the shows.
Also, at the Russell Simmons Menswear show, tensions mount when all of the ladies in the front row where Ramona - hassled by Simon to explain her problem with him - tells him that he's shallow.

Love Jill, and her Mum. Nice people. Ramona and Mario, pfffft, losers. Bethany, way-to-go-girl, working for a living and giving sad-sack Kelly the business. Kelly wouldn't know honesty if she fell over it. Alex, I like. Simon I can take or leave, mostly leave. Thanks for an entertaining season.
Seems like the only lady who actually works is Bethenny. The rest have fairly wealthy husbands and Kelly has a "famous" ex., so, she probably gets supported by him plus she uses his name to keep her name going in the social circles and the tons of connections/jobs that she says that she has. If she is a writer, she should be able to put a coherent sentence together. She stuttered and made no sense at her "meeting" with Bethenny. As much as she tried to make Bethenny feel "small/lower" than her, she only succeeded in looking and sounding silly. She couldn't even make eye contact with her while trying to "trash" Bethenny. The rest of the ladies are trying to "write" books, sell their wares (fabrics, jewelry, tee shirts, clothing, etc.) and use this show as a launching site to make money. Their "charity" work seems contrived. They are more worried about the "event"/"party"/who's invited/who is not, their names/recognition for their charity, etc., than on the actual act of helping people in need. It's all a tax write off for their wealth come April!! It all seems like so much self promotion..by women who are not actresses..just happened to be picked for the show and stage a lot of drama for the viewers. Reality shows are becoming the poor man's/woman's way to their 15 minutes of fame, be it good, bad, or ugly. They don't seem to care. They put themselves and their families out there and fight for attention like gladiators in the lion's den. Can't wait to see the NJ Housewives' show. That should be a hoot!!
Only 2 1/2 men in the show and Jill is married to 2 men and LuAnn is married to 1/2(in gest for his seldom appearance). The rest being male participants with their insecurities and small minded pettiness they are going to force all women to become lesbians.Bullfrogs look in the mirror and see Princes. I wish I could make it true but unfortunately you are BULLFROGS.As for Alex and Ramona you two are First, pushing HOMOPHOBIC men to gay men.Second,seeing you two, I'm hoping my son will bring a man home. I am proud of you and remember, reflect before you make conclusion. So did I see this right? Kelly invites Bethanny to talk, shows up late and rambles about how they could never be friends...what was the purpose of that? Her all around pompus attitude puts her _ not - !!If her name is worth anything (?) she should be honored to put it to good use! I think Kelly has some issues...just ask Nicholas. Bethany got where she is on her own power not someone else's. She should be voted off the island!
You made a mistake in your heading. it wasn't russell simmons that confronted Ramona it was Simon.
Alex and Simon, it is good that you love each other and you focus on your children, but in all honesty; the two of you are out of your league when it compares to the other women. You two vacation in the Hamptons by way of rentals, the other women (besides Bethanne) own property. The other couples have condos and/or townhomes in the Upper East end of NYC. Your in Brooklyn…..not Manhattan???? Even I have friends from Brooklyn and they saw the area you live in a dump. The pool that you had in your backyard----Wal-Mart or Kmart, bought me on. They run less than two $200. The other housewives’ pools are their backyard, custom built. At the Russell Simmons Fashion Show, Simon you did not know which side of the rope to walk on and you was at a formal, press event starting an argument with Ramona----clearly you two are out of your league. Also, Simon, yes you want to do things with your wife, but can she not breathe??? Where are your male friends? When the girls want a girls night out, that’s exactly what it means a bonding time for women to talk work, children, husbands, concepts on intimacy, health and beauty aids. I agree with Ramona, you had no place there---get some males friends or stay at home with the kids!!!!

Bethany - You are the only true person on this show. You are honest to yourself and you are the only person who has the courage to call a spade, "a spade!" More power to you. Ignore those who are trying to force feed their ideas, such as Lu Ann. You are very Beautiful, classy, honest, self-confident, and loving person. Kelly is trying hard to portray someone who is not her. She married someone old and rich, had 2 kids for lifetime support called alimony, kept his last name and has tried many other ways to be somebody. If someone has to keep insisting that she has been in fashion, she has been a model, she is important, she writes, ..., obviously she is a NO-body who wants to become someone by pretending. Her true color has come out. Jill - you are trying too hard. You pay for the friendship of the designers. If you were friends with them without having to pay for it, it would be worth mentioning. But all this talk about how friendly you are with designer when everyone can see it is for the $$$ that your husband makes and you spend, is a bit ridiculous.
