Details of Natasha Richardson's Funeral Service

A funeral service for late actress Natasha Richardson, who died last week after suffering head injury from a skiing accident, was held Sunday afternoon, March 22, in Millbrook, N.Y., where she married actor husband back in 1994. The funeral opened only for family and close friends of the Tony Award-winning actress.

Liam, who arrived at the service alongside sons Micheal Richard Antonio and Daniel Jack, whom he has with Natasha, was among the pallbearers who carried his wife's coffin into St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Natasha's mother Vanessa Redgrave and sister were also in attendance.

Among Natasha's celebrity friends who paid their final tribute to the film and stage actress were , and Mia Farrow. and , both of whom co-starred with Liam in the 2003 romantic comedy film "", also attended the service.

Natasha's remains were buried at St. Peter's Cemetery, few steps away from her maternal grandmother Rachel Kempson's plot. Her funeral service reportedly lasted a little more than an hour.

Natasha Richardson passed away last Wednesday, March 18 after falling down while skiing at the Mont Tremblant Resort in the Canadian province of Quebec on Monday, March 16. The incident left her with a serious brain injury. She was 45.

Following her death, the lights of Broadway's theaters were dimmed for a minute on Thursday night, March 19 to honor Natasha. A private wake was held the following day at the American Irish Historical Society in N.Y.C.
