Trouble comes approaching Joe Jonas after a picture showing him slanting his eyes makes its round all over the web. Previously fellow teen sensation Miley Cyrus found herself in hot water for a similar photo, which was considered defamatory to Asian people.
The particular photo of Joe is first featured on GossipTeen.com. It shows the middle of the Jonas Brothers pulling both of his eyelids with his little fingers. No word on when or where the snap was taken.
Joe Jonas himself has not yet issued a single comment on the much publicized picture. It is also not known if he is aware of the existence of the shot.
As for Miley Cyrus, she was forced to issue a public apology after a picture of her and some of her friends pulling their eyelids back to imitate Asians' slanted eyes while one Asian-American male sits among them emerged on the web early last month.
Accused by Asian-American group OCA to have poked fun at Asians, Miley was quick to address that matter on her MileyWorld blog, writing "I've also been told there are some people upset about some pictures taken of me with friends making goofy faces! Well, I'm sorry if those people looked at those pics and took them wrong and out of context!"
