The 20th Century Fox have brought forth five brand new U.K. character-spots for 'Dragonball Evolution', describing some of the major characters' traits as well as presenting new scenes.
Five U.K. character-spots for "Dragonball Evolution" have arrived. Though extremely short, each of the character-spots provides a proper introduction to Justin Chatwin's Goku, James Marsters' Lord Piccolo, Emmy Rossum's Bulma, Chow Yun-Fat's Master Roshi and Jamie Chung's Chi-Chi, as well as lets out several never-before-seen footage from the movie.
The "Goku" spot describes this strong and fearless titular character as an ordinary kid fulfilling his destiny to save the world, while the "Lord Piccolo" spot lets out that the green villain is on a mission to capture the power of the seven dragonballs and is ready to unleash his vengeance to the world. The "Bulma" spot introduces Bulma as a beauty with a brain and major attitude.
The two remaining spots belong to Master Roshi and Chi-Chi. The one for Master Roshi presents the Goku's mentor as a patient and wise man with a completely unpredictable nature, whereas the one for Chi-Chi gives out the character as a beautiful and popular girl in school who hides a secret that she is actually a fighter.
Adapted from Akira Toriyama's famous Japanese manga of the same name, "Dragonball Evolution" revolves around Goku's journey to collect all seven Dragonballs. Having had one of the balls, the young warrior must now gather around six others before Lord Piccolo gets his hands on them and destroys Earth. With the help from Master Roshi and Bulma, he embarks on a quest to save the Earth. The live-action film produced by Stephen Chow will come out in U.S. theaters on April 8.
