A source close to Rihanna and Chris Brown says that instead of taking a formal break, the twosome opts to keep themselves away from each other temporarily.

AceShowbiz - Apparently, Rihanna and Chris Brown's much publicized reunion doesn't last long as they reportedly are "taking a break." E! News is the first to report that matter as being informed by a source close to the couple.
According to the unnamed source, Rihanna and Chris are not formally breaking up. They, instead, have decided to stay away from each other, and are planning to meet up soon.
After keeping herself away from the spotlight as a result of her altercation with Chris Brown, Rihanna has been seen making public appearance in New York City last Thursday, March 12. The following day, she reportedly had a quiet dinner with fellow singers Brandy, Jay-Z, and Beyonce Knowles at the Spotted Pig. The next day, she dined with some friends at Da Silvano.
Chris, meanwhile, has remained in Los Angeles, spending his time working on an upcoming album. "He's just putting ideas down for some songs he wrote," says the singer's source as quoted by E! News. "He needs to feel like he's moving forward."
Calls made to Rihanna and Chris' representatives to seek comment on the report of them taking a break haven't been answered.
