Taking into account the suggestion of her Malawian friends, Madonna admits she's been considering to adopt another kid from Malawi.

AceShowbiz - Another adoption may be on the way for Madonna as she has openly admitted to be considering to adopt another kid from adopted son David Banda's native Malawi. "Many people - especially our Malawian friends - say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister," the music diva says in response to emailed questions from Malawi's The Nation newspaper.

"It's something I have been considering, but would only do, if I had the support of the Malawian people and the Government," Madonna says further about the planned adoption. Making public her adoption plan, Madonna however doesn't disclose whether she will choose a boy or a girl.

Speaking of young son David, whom she adopted with then-husband Guy Ritchie back in 2006, Madonna reveals, "He has a big map of Africa in his room with lots of arrows pointing to Malawi", adding that, "It is a big priority for me to educate my son about the world, but always to stay connected to his Malawian culture."

Moreover, Madonna also promises that her divorce from Guy would not deprive their children of either parent. "I believe in family. So, everything between us is very amicable...we both agree that our children should always feel a deep connection with both their parents. It is our responsibility to give them that foundation," she claims.

After denying repeated divorce reports, Madonna and Guy Ritchie finally confirmed their separation in October 2008 through a statement issued by her longtime publicist Liz Rosenberg. The high profile couple, who has been married since December 2000, has one son named Rocco. As for Madonna, she also has a daughter named Lourdes with her former fitness trainer Carlos Leon.
