Movie

'It was a completely fantastic experience,' Keira Knightley said of her role as Elizabeth Swann in 'Pirates of the Caribbean' before hinting that she won't return for the fourth film.

AceShowbiz - While discussing about her latest movie "The Edge of Love", Keira Knightley has ruled herself out of "Pirates of the Caribbean 4". Answering the question asked by Moviefone if she has any interest in playing Elizabeth Swann again, the Academy Award-nominated starlet stated that she believes she's "done" with the part.

"It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again," the star of "Atonement" and "The Duchess" insisted. She furthermore explained, "I think that it's done. But I'm very excited to see the next one. And [Johnny Depp] is so wonderful in that character. I think it'll be wonderful."

Though detailed information about "Pirates 4" has remained tightly under wraps, it is said that the new project will be focusing solely on Jack Sparrow, which will be portrayed by Johnny Depp once again. In the new adventure to find the Fountain of Youth, he will have to team up with Captain Barbossa in order to "defeat some supernatural terror". The movie is said to leave out Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann.
