While discussing about her latest movie "The Edge of Love", Keira Knightley has ruled herself out of "Pirates of the Caribbean 4". Answering the question asked by Moviefone if she has any interest in playing Elizabeth Swann again, the Academy Award-nominated starlet stated that she believes she's "done" with the part.
"It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again," the star of "Atonement" and "The Duchess" insisted. She furthermore explained, "I think that it's done. But I'm very excited to see the next one. And [Johnny Depp] is so wonderful in that character. I think it'll be wonderful."
Though detailed information about "Pirates 4" has remained tightly under wraps, it is said that the new project will be focusing solely on Jack Sparrow, which will be portrayed by Johnny Depp once again. In the new adventure to find the Fountain of Youth, he will have to team up with Captain Barbossa in order to "defeat some supernatural terror". The movie is said to leave out Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann.

NO Kiera or Orlando, well that's just stupid.. but Johnny Dept truely is the star, the trailer is really funny check it on youtube you'll still LOVE it and in the trailer Elizabeth was in it ;>
I thought the fourth movie was going to be about freeing Will from the dutch men. Obviously not, that's a bummer but I don't believe their not in it 'till I see it! (I HOPE THEY ARE)
I don't think this is entirely true, because I watched the trailer and saw Kiera in it so I'm confused, then I was told that Kiera is in it but not a lot of it, and I have no idea about Orlando
I think the movie would be so much better with Orlando and Keira! That's so sad they aren't doing it:( it almost ruins the movie. Yes, Johnny Depp is a very good actor but it's not the same without Orlando and Keira. They should carry on the story because of the way the 3rd one ended. Pirates 4 is like a whole new movie...
O.o But Keira Knightley is so HOT! I don't know who that Cruz chic is, fankly, don't care either, cuz Keira Knightley is so HOT! Pirates without her is like Spiderman without Mary-Jane or Brad without Angelina...
That's really sad. Before I read this article, I was watching the trailor for the movie and it didn't list Keira's name or Orlando's name, and I was like "WHAT?" and I went to google right away. I told my sisters that I don't even want to see the movie anymore and asking why Penelope Cruz was in it. This is crazy, Sparrow, Swann, and Turner are like a trio, and that's partly why I loved the movies. This is devastating!!1

noooo kiara has to be in the 4 movie or else theres no point in making the last movie kiera and orlando make up the intire movie. i didnt like the way they ended the 3rd movie they should find a way to free will. If kiera dosent do the 4 movie shes ruining the intire plot of pirates of the carribian which has been set since the first movie...... :/
NOOOOOOOO way .. I thought eira Knightley and Orlando Bloom will be on Pirates 4. This really made me frustrated about it all. I know that Johnny Deep is a very good actor besides his important role on the movie but that doesn't mean he'll enough for the movie!!
Once I heard about Keira Knightley and I was shocked. She is the best actress for Pirates of the Caribbean. It makes me fell bad that my two favorite actors on Pirates of the Caribbean. I Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley read this I just want to ask you to be on the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean if there is one. I think that if Orlando and Keira are on another Pirates of the Caribbean then I bet that the movie will win up to 15 awards for best movie of the generation. So I think that Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom are the most amazimg actore of this generation. I hope you both decide to be on another Pirates of the Caribbean because all of your fans including me will be supporting you and be the first ones to see the movie. But atleast Jonny Depp will stay. Again I will hope with all my heart that both of you join the cast again!!!
Well, I was disappointed with third movie's ending... not that I think all endings shuld have a happy endng, but honestly, that end irritated me. The fact that Elizabeth was just going to sit round waiting for 10 years annoyed me. They should be in the 4th movie to redeem that...somehow find a way to release Will.
It's so disappointing that Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly won't be in the 4th movie...I enjoyed that these movies had a bit of romance in them as well. I wish they would continue in it, it would just be better. I love Johnny Depp in the movie, but it won't be a very long movie if it's all about him. Besides his character isn't suppose to fall in love, he's a player and loves being with more then one female. It will be weird. Probably won't watch it. Plus I don't like Penelope Cruz movies...she isn't that great an actress...
idk...i guess it's her choice really, i like the idea of finding the fountian of youth...i think that the new movie will add a new twist to the cliche of all sequels. you know, most sequels go along the lines of some tradegy happening to the character whose actor/ess doesnt come back and then they introduce a new character/s to the plot and it can get a little too cliche and corny. i like the idea of having another movie all about pirates. esspessially with good ol jack to lead the way. :)
will and elizabeth have to come back!!!!they add sooooo much to the story.it would be so boring if it was just about jack.they can't just be in the 3rd and then not in the 4th, it makes no sense.keira must come back!!!!!!!!
Elizabeth and Will make the movie, especially with the way 3 ended... surely they have to find a way to redeem Will from Davey Jones Locker and reunite them. It's too bad they won't be in the film. Although I understand Keira being done with the role. No doubt that Johnny can carry the movie but the heart of the movie will be lost.
imagine these pirate ships out racing one another accross the bermuda triangle to get to whats now fla and our lovely fountain of youth
why not have the dutchman seek out the fountain of youth as the pearl and every other pirate ship,will could be doing this to live forever and unbind himself as the capt of the dutchman or break the curse
Good riddance, I say. For all of you fools complaing, their story is done over. All the fanboys and fangirls of actors should stop focusing on one actor or actress and actually enjoy movies. Jack and Barbossa are what made these movies so good.

Omg!! Are you serious?! No Elizabeth OR Will!? God! I mean Johnny Depp is unbeleviably ahhmazing and there will still probably be people camping out at the theaters but Will was so hottt!! :). But I kinda knew they were done I mean Will can't step on land for 10 years and if you stayed after the credits it hinted that Will and Elizabeth had a 10 year old son. And the last thing we saw was Captain Jack and barbosa doing was looking at the map of the fountain of youth. :)
