A date had popped out, suggesting the return of vampire flick "True Blood" on TV. While HBO had set the premiere target to be in either June or July, a more particular date, June 14 has been thrown out as the airing of first episode in the second season.
Allegedly, Charlaine Harris, author of the book the series is based upon, has mentioned the date on her website in a post dated March 9. She was informed by the assistant of the show's creator Alan Ball. Yet, the date remains unofficial until HBO releases a statement. "In terms of a premiere date - we actually don't have a date set in stone, but it is looking like mid-June," the network responded.
The production itself has been taking place since January this year. Alan Ball dished out on the second season, "There are new romances for Tara, Jason and Sara. Bill and Sookie have a lot of issues to sort out - including having made a new teenage vampire that's living in their house. Bill and Sookie also go to Dallas to find one of their own who has gone missing."
On another dose of "True Blood" news, Valerie Cruz ("Dexter") has been cast as an elegant Hispanic vampire named Isabel.

Who is the dunce who said that Vampires hate cajuns? Also those of us who live in North Louisiana are not for the most part cajuns. They are south of I10 which is in south Louisiana.
I love True Blood! It's a REAL change from truelife gangs, crime and the lot. It let's you escape into the fantasy world of make believe for an hour at a time, with nothing to do with real life. What a change!!! Can't get enough!
if you cant wait, watch it on the internet. The WHOLE of season 2 is out already and some of season 3. although i prefer to wait untill it comes out on tv. i dont want to ruin it by watching it with crap quality! lol.

The sookie Stackhouse novels have been in print since 2001, which was long before twilight. So, therefore, True blood cannot be a rip off of twilight. I love both. Stop bitching.
True Blood is like such a ripoff of Twilight! Edward Cullen could totally kick Vampire Bill's ass in a fight. Besides the premise of the show is retarded. Everyone knows that vampires hate cajuns!
i cant wait till season 1 of true blood comes out on dvd because i have been asking for it for a very long time. when the marathon was on i think it was last november i had stayed up till 6 in the morning watchin it that is how much i love it.
Hey Charlean Harris has a new book "Dead until Gone" it's out May 5th. Maybe that will hold us over. I have read them all and can't get enough. I am so excited about Season 2.

This has been the best thing on tv for a while. The books are great and i think they have taken a wonderful creative direction with the show. Season 2 is going to be equally as dynamic and enthralling!
