One devoted fan of Radiohead, Miley Cyrus has expressed her disappointment upon being dissed by the music act during the 51st annual Grammy Awards back on February 8, telling the Johnjay & Rich morning radio show on Tuesday, March 3, "I was so upset." Devastated by the unfortunate encounter, she admitted leaving the awards show, vowing "I'm gonna ruin them, I'm going to tell everyone."
Recalling the day she met the rock band, Miley said during the radio interview, "I'm like, these are the people I really want to meet. I'd freak out. They're my rock gods. These are the only people I would cry over." Then "[I told my manager], 'Pull as many strings.' My manager asked and said, 'Miley's really obsessed.' And they were like, 'We don't really do that'", Miley went on to dish.
"They're the reason I love music," the 16-year-old Disney star continued expressing her disappointment. "Just to say you don't really do that - it's not like I was going to bring my crew. I had already texted all my friends that my life will be complete [if I got to meet them]. We were all freaking out." She added, "I left," on what she did upon being snubbed by Radiohead. "I wasn't going to watch. Stinkin' Radiohead!"

What is interesting if you listen close to her radio appearance is how she says, "And they said they wouldn't meet ME." As if she is more important than most people. For a fifteen year old performer to already think this about his or herself is pretty awful. I do not predict a great life for her because when she gets older and realizes that the fandom fades, she will not be able to live with the lack of accolades and attention. Someone in her entourage should have reined her in immediately when she threw a tantrum and said, "Fine! Then I'm leaving!" telling her, "No, you're not! You are going to act like an adult and not storm off like a two year old who didn't get her way." I don't think what Radiohead said was so horrible: "We don't do that sort of thing" is far different from' Nah. Tell the bitch to F-Off!"
