A music video to promote "Prom Queen", the new song from Lil Wayne, has made its debut. Premiered during the airing of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", it has Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu from Korn making cameos as Wayne's backing band.
Starting with Wayne's live performance, it continues with a scene where he is turned down by a girl he loves. As letters marking years from 2004 to 2009 are flashing on the screen, the rapper is narrated through newspaper's headlines, gaining huge success from becoming a chart-topper to sweeping 2009 Grammy Awards.
At the end, the girl Wayne used to love comes to one of his concerts. He, however, ignores her and kisses another girl on stage, leaving her disappointed and seemingly regretting her decision of turning him down while they were still at school.
"Prom Queen" is the first single off Lil Wayne's rock-themed album "REBIRTH", which is due for U.S. release on May 19. Having been released since late January, it rose to number 15 on Billboard Hot 100 and charted at number 16 on Billboard Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles despite its rock genre.

I love how everyone on here is so called 'hating' on Lil' Wayne. It really doesn't matter if people don't like him or not he makes over a million dollars per ambum ... and obviously his music is good if all of his albums go mulit-platnium like 'Tha Carter III' so there are people out there who really like his music. And here is a little piece of advice for everyone who does not like Lil' Wayne ... if you do not like the music, don't listen to it. Keep your comments to yourself. If you don't like the song, then don't listen to it. If you find yourself not liking it half way through the song then stop listening to it. It makes no sense to listen to a song you do not like. Wow are people seriously THAT retarded now a days. Where has the world gone to? It is not official that I have lost faith in humanity.
