Walking the red carpet of the 81st Annual Academy Awards wearing a white strapless Prada satin gown, combined with purposely-arranged messy hair and black shoes, Jessica Biel has been considered as one of the worst dressed actresses at the awards gala. Stopping to strike a pose for the camera, she was seen finishing off her look with a pair of long earrings and a black clutch.
In addition to Biel, Beyonce Knowles' form-fitting mermaid style black strapless gown with gold graphic detailing was dubbed as disaster too. No record on who designs her dress, but it is widely believed that the dress is of her mother Tina Knowles' collection.
Amy Adams, who wore a Carolina Herrera red dress to the Oscars over the weekend, was considered the other fashion disaster. Hollyscoop described her gown as "boring" and "so matchy-matchy with her ginger locks." The site, moreover, also blamed her "fun beaded Roberto Cavalli choker". In another dose of bad news, Amy's dress was also criticized by Red Carpet Fashion Awards' fashion critic who claimed to "dislike the black piping on the bodice".
Amanda Seyfried and Alicia Keys were the other stars whose Oscars dresses were considered worst by several sites.
