A brand new single entitled "Boom Boom Pow" performed by Black Eyed Peas has been uncovered. Mostly containing Auto-Tune, it is confirmed to be the first single off their upcoming studio effort "The E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies)".
Carrying "a lot of dance stuff, real melodic, electronic, soulful" music, Black Eyed Peas' new album will make its way out in U.S. on June 9 via Interscope Records. In support of the record, they will embark on a tour across the globe with complete tour dates expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
will.i.am previously revealed that "The E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies)" will be dropped as "a diary of music" with "a lot of international inspiration." He said, "When it comes out, there'll be 12 songs on it, but the next day there could be 100 songs, 50 sketches, 1,000 blogs all (online) around 'The End' so the energy really, truly never dies."
