A sequel to "Meet the Fockers", "Little Fockers", has been confirmed to be indeed moving forward. Through its Risky Biz Blog, The Hollywood Reporter let out that Universal Pictures have brought "I Love You, Man" writer/director John Hamburg to pen the script from Larry Stuckey's earlier draft.
Additionally, the trade also noted that director Jay Roach, who helmed both "Meet the Parents" and its sequel "Meet the Fockers", won't direct this comedy movie, but will serve as the project's producer. In place of Roach, the studio reportedly are considering a handful of directors, from "In Good Company" helmer/writer Paul Weitz to "Yes Man" helmer Peyton Reed.
"Little Fockers" will be the third film in "Meet the Parents" series and will revolve around the children of Greg Focker and Pam Byrnes. Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro and Owen Wilson are reportedly in talks to star in the comedy movie, which is expected to begin shooting as early as summer or fall.
