Solange Knowles was briefly hospitalized for dehydration and low blood pressure after fainting at an airport, but her representative has confirmed she is fine and resting at home.

AceShowbiz - Solange Knowles was rushed to hospital on Tuesday, February 17 after fainting at the airport on her way home from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. She was treated for dehydration and low blood pressure, the singer herself announced in a post on her Twitter, dated Wednesday, February 18.
It was stated on her Twitter that Solange tried to get some sleep early in her flight by consuming cough medicine. "I took a Nyquil, and I think maybe I'm getting high off it because I'm not sleeping," she wrote. "Everything's movvvvviinnngg slooooowww, LOL."
"Think I'm certified loosing it on Nyquil. Going to sleep before i start freestyling on the plane," Solange continued writing. "Woaah ........ How'd I end up in the hospital? Woke up to 8 random people over me, laid out on the floor in baggage claim! Guess I passed out! Scary. Hooked up to IV now . Apparently I'm super dehydrated. I've never passed out before. Shit was like the movies. People standing over me saying 'hello'. I've been embarrassed enough today."
"My mom is the best. LOL," Solange gushed about her mother Tina Knowles who visited her at the hospital. "She's like, Ain't nothing wrong with this girl. She need some water and rest ... pull up the car! LOL." Released from the hospital later in the day Solange wrote, "They let me go ..... Rest. Water. Rest. Water."
Asked to comment on Solange's hospitalization, a representative for her confirmed to MTV News, "Solange was treated for dehydration following a flight from New York to L.A. She is fine and resting at home. She will launch her tour on Sunday, February 22 as planned."
Prior to the hospitalization, Solange Knowles was caught in nip slip moment, which she soon addressed on her Twitter. She put the blame on the media, accusing them to have exaggerated the incident.
